After reading Kevin's newest posting over at The Clog (www.calderclog.blogspot.com), I feel kind of stuck. I've been trying to make a new posting on here all day but whenever I'm about to start writing I just think about pies. How am I even going to try to compare with that!?!? His blogs make you think of pies.. ALL DAY!! And that's amazing because everyone likes pie....

Now I start thinking about the pie that I've been trying to eat all day. Kevin made me a pumpkin cream pie a few days ago. It's delicious! I ate some yesterday and have been wanting to eat some of it today, but once again I feel stuck. If you haven't already, go read Kevin's newest Clog posting that's entitled "Pie, Another Look." This will all make a lot more sense once that's been read. So now I just look at this pumpkin cream pie. It's very sweet. Has a nice, creamy soft texture unlike any other pumpkin pie, and I wonder why there was a slice missing when he gave it to me. What uuhhhhh... what'd you do Kevin?? The pie's really good. Ok and now I'm wondering why this posting is all about pie now, that's Kevin's thing.

AHH man ok, I'm really getting off track here and I'm rambling a lot. I really don't have anything to talk about right now. I just wanted to post something up before going to bed, and I'm pretty tired right now. I'm just gonna put up this nice little video clip for you to feast your eyes on while i sleep! Goodnight everyone and happy holidays!!

D-BLAZE

San Diego is full of amazing skate spots, cool people and perfect weather. One kid that we've met in SD that typically stands out amongst the others is D-Blaze. His real name is Derrick but he won't tell you that when you meet him. He's a local SD/Clairemont lurker and he films for SK8MAFIA. If it wasn't for D-Blaze, San Diego would have been pretty boring so far. Every person we've met, every spot we've skated, and every party we've gone to has been because of D-Blaze. If you know him then you know exactly what I'm talking about, so if you plan on going to San Diego anytime soon keep an eye out for him! He's just a chill dude so I had make a post dedicated to him.

Christmas Flicks!!

It's Christmas time and you know what that means!! Time to put up some lights, decorate the tree, spike the eggnog and watch some Christmas movies!! I just wanted to recommend a few really quick...

A Christmas Story! We've probably all seen this one before, but this movie was made to be watched annually.

Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas." This movie scared me when I was little but I love it now...

And of course "Die Hard." Nothing says 'Merry Christmas' better than Bruce Willis running around barefoot with a machine gun in LA.

Economic Crisis

BREAKING NEWS:

Even in the stickiest of situations, Batman has never given up on Gotham City. From his battle with The Scarecrow in "Batman begins" to his war with The Joker in "The Dark Knight," he has worked so hard to make that city the fine place that it is today.

Due to the present financial crisis in our economy, Gotham City officials tragically had to let Batman go. With all the paycheck cuts and the city taxes, they couldn't afford to have him working anymore.

In brighter news, they were able to find a replacement super hero that's willing to work for minimum wage. His identity has not yet been released to the public, but rumor has it he will be starting work the first of January '09.

And if you haven't been able to tell yet, I am very bored right now. Have a good day.

Between Us and Lambs

"Lambs dude... we are but lambs in the winds of time..."

These are very wise words that were spoken to me by a very wise man. This man knows all that there is to know about everything! Life, death, time, meaning of existence, etc etc etc.... And he can make some good pies, too! But regretfully I cannot tell you the name of this man due to liability issues or something like that, so I cannot give him credit for his own words. Nethertheless, take these words of the lambs with you my friends. Examine every word, dwell on what the true meaning is to you. I guarantee that soon you will have a whole new outlook and appreciation for life!!

Actually whatever...

This is the dude... Mr. Kevin Calderwood. Seen in the above picture on the left. He's the dude, MAN!! Being the founder of the infamous CalderClog (www.calderclog.blogspot.com), he's also known for his knowledge of fine espresso drinks and his astonishing good looks!! He makes really cool skate videos, and is the author of many vegan cook books that you'll find on the sale shelf at your local bookstore. He's a cool guy man! I just thought that he deserved to be mentioned here on the TruckUg Chronicles while it still lasts...

And now back to the 'lambs' quote. Well, let's see. I don't really know what it means to be honest. Tell me what you think! Leave me some feedback!!

But either way, I just think that in the end we all just gotta...

and live life with...

no matter what. Then we'll all be fine.

Well I've been staring at my computer screen for about thirty minutes now trying to figure out what I'm going to do for my first posting on the TruckUg Chronicles, and I still don't even really know yet. I just figured that if I started typing maybe something will come up.........
Clark!! Clark Rodgers. He's a pretty chill guy, I live with him down in San Diego, his middle name is Xavier AND he's got beautiful red hair. Why not just start all this off with him? Switch pole jam at the lot spot!!
